IMMUNITY PASSPORTS: Special Privileges For Some, Scarlet Letters For The Rest Of Us

Immunity Passports

NOW, federal bureaucrats are talking about issuing “Immunity Passports.”  The government would administer nationwide antibody tests to find out who has had the coronavirus already, and who hasn’t.  Presumably, this would be done by chasing us all down and taking some of our blood.

Through the use of a branding and tracking identification system, bureaucrats could keep track of individuals who are immune because they have already had the virus, and those who aren’t immune.

What does a real passport do?  It grants us the “privilege” of leaving the country, and the “privilege” of entering the country.  Those who have “Immunity Passports” will be granted special privileges the rest of us won’t have.  What those privileges will entail will be left up to the bureaucrats and will be ever evolving.

IMMUNITY PASSPORTS AND BUREAUCRATS

Here is what Dr. Anthony Fauci, the world renown expert on infectious diseases, a key member of Trump’s Coronavirus Response Taskforce, AND a long-time bureaucrat recently had to say about “Immunity Passports:”

“It’s one of those things that WE talk about when WE want to make sure that WE know who the vulnerable people are and not.  This is something that’s being discussed. I think it might actually have some merit, under certain circumstances.”

The “we,” of course, is bureaucrats.  Bureaucrats are all about controlling the rest of us and don’t concern themselves with the testy little details of Americans’ civil rights, the Bill of Rights, etc.

IMMUNITY PASSPORTS AND GPS

In this Era of Coronavirus the politicians and bureaucrats are salivating over all the possibilities it affords them to control the masses.  Only the naïve believe such an “immunity passport” will come in the form of small booklet one carries around like a real passport.

One bureaucrat, in all his arrogance, actually went on nationwide television to tell the masses about the need to track Americans using GPS.  He thought it was necessary so that GOVERNMENT WOULD KNOW who each of us was associating with.

This would be done, he said, by forcing each of us to wear or carry a GPS devise.  Here comes the microchip forcefully inserted into each American.  He doesn’t concern himself with the Freedom of Assembly (AKA association)* embedded in our constitution.

GOVERNMENT HAS NO RIGHT TO KNOW WHO AMERICANS ASSOCIATE WITH, MUCH LESS TELL US WHO THE “RIGHT” PEOPLE ARE THAT WE CAN ASSOCIATE WITH AND WHO THE “WRONG” PEOPLE ARE.

MICROCHIPS OR SCARLET LETTERS?

Dr. Fauci was the hero of the HIV epidemic of the 1980s.  He identified the virus and its transmission via sex.  We still lose 13,000 Americans each year to HIV.  As this article goes to press America has seen 25,000 deaths caused in whole or in part by the coronavirus.

I have a question for Dr. Fauci:  Back in the 80s did you think about some kind of Scarlet Letter** that would identify HIV patients and prohibit them from having sex? Did the Bill of Rights stand in your way, or the fact that GPS and microchips didn’t exist?

*The First Amendment text reads: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Repeatedly, the US Supreme Court has ruled that “right of assembly” means the right to associate with people of our choosing without government interference.

**The definition of a scarlet letter is an identifying mark or brand placed on someone who has committed adultery. An example of a scarlet letter is the Puritan woman in Nathaniel Hawthorne’s 1850 book The Scarlet Letter who cheated on her husband and had to wear a red A.

I am an American, a patriot, a Conservative, a Republican & a strong Trump supporter. I retired in order to devote 2020 to getting the best president in my lifetime re-elected. Normal Americans have hope for the first time in decades. But, we MUST NOT relax. We have remained silent for too long while Liberalism has caused significant damage to Americans, to American culture and to our nation. Trump's work must continue through 1/2025. If we want anything of value to remain for future generations we need to act now, speak out now. Laugh every time a Liberal speaks, vote every chance we get & volunteer to campaign for Trump. Don't be intimidated by Liberals. Our nation, our culture is too special to lose.

  1. Correction: Hester Prynne did NOT “cheat on her husband” … she was a single woman who was seduced and used by the minister of the church. The minister was too much a coward to come forward and stand with her, so she had to withstand the scorn and bannishment alone.

  2. “IMMUNITY PASS PORTS MY ASS! ” ANY CONGRESSMAN/WOMEN THAT AGREES WITH THIS ” ORWELL 84 CRAP” TO BE IMPEACHED FOR VIOLATION OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNION OF THE REPUBLIC! THEY ARE NOTHING BUT TRAITORS AS BENEDICT ARNOLD WAS IN THE REVOLUTION! TO EVEN THINK OF THIS BOGUS ACT BROUGHT UP BY THIS DR. FAUSIC WHO IS IN LEAGUE WITH THE ” POPULATION CONTROL JACK ASS ” BILL GATES IS ANOTHER DEEP STATE RAT AND GATES IS ” DR JECKEL ” OF OUR TIME!

  3. Re Marxism/Socialism:

Capitalism mainly benefits the customer and should be called Customerism. No one is forced to buy from or work for anyone – all transactions are voluntary. The customer freely chooses to enter any transaction and does so for his/her benefit. If the capitalist doesn’t serve the customer he/she will fail. It is truly “Power to the People”. It incentivizes work, innovation and progress. It decentralizes wealth and therefore power. It has raised more people out of poverty than any other system in human history. It has done more to improve the quality of life for everyone on the planet than any other system in human history. Ask yourself – would you rather live in China under Mao or in China today now that it has accepted private property and markets? This doesn’t mean there is no role for government – prevention of monopoly and abuse of workers apply.

Turning over control of all the money to the same people who control all the guns is not a really good idea. Fascism/Socialism/Marxism is “Power to the State”. It incentivizes centralization of control. It has given the world Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro, Chavez, Maduro, the Kim family etc. etc. etc. Marxists have murdered well over 100 million of their own citizens – a number only exceeded in murders by Muslims.

While the private sector is rewarded for efficiently satisfying customers, the public sector is rewarded by loyalty to superiors and amassing and centralizing power. Public sector bureaucrats are in fact punished for efficiency and problem solving – they lose funding and therefore status and power. Every page, every sentence, every word of legislation and regulation is fertilizer that enables public sector bureaucrats to grow the bureaucracy and the power of the state. Consider for example:
    • Today the US federal government debt is over $23 trillion yet come the end of the fiscal year every federal government bureaucracy will do everything it can to spend every last dollar of its budget.
    • What has the Environmental Protection Agency accomplished other than insuring “dirty” jobs and processes move to such ecological wonderlands as China, India, Bangladesh, etc.?
    • Why is American education poorer but vastly more expensive today than before the creation of the Department of Education?
    • What has the Department of Energy accomplished re energy independence – the ethanol lunacy which is depleting the Ogallala Aquifer?
    • Look at Income Tax law. Why is the cost of compliance (time wasted, litigation, record keeping, mal-investment, fraud, 100K+ IRS workforce, preparer fees, etc.) with our 75,000+ page Income Tax Code approaching half a trillion dollars a year?

    From Chinese economist Zhang Weiying:
“We human beings always seek happiness. Now there are two ways. You make yourself happy by making other people unhappy – I call that the logic of robbery. The other way, you make yourself happy by making other people happy – that’s the logic of the market.” Which way do you prefer?
