EXECUTIVE ORDERS: Oregon’s Governor Is A Dictator

Executive Orders

On Wednesday Oregon’s Governor signed a Cap & Trade Executive Order.  On Thursday Kate Brown signed an Executive Order intending to wipe out our Freedom of Assembly that is guaranteed by the US Constitution.  She did not say if she would send out the national guard or state troopers to break up every group over 250.

Coincidence?  Oregon has 15 confirmed coronavirus cases and no deaths.  Was suspension of our constitutional rights done to prevent Oregonians from protesting the inevitable loss of their jobs and businesses under her Cap & Trade executive order?

Barely a month ago, at least 10,000 people and 1,124 big trucks from all over the state converged on the state capitol in protest of the Cap & Trade bill that would force them into unemployment.  Did Kate fear a repeat?

EXECUTIVE ORDERS: POWER GRAB, MONEY GRAB

After months pretending that she would allow the legislative process to determine if/when the Democrats’ Cap & Trade bill would become law, the dictator in the governor’s mansion issued an executive order.

Surrounded by brainwashed children whom she called her advisers, Oregon governor Kate Brown* signed her Cap & Trade Executive Order.  This was her way of telling Oregonians that she has all the power.  [Who does THAT remind you of?]  It is more important for her & The Destructive Left to amass ill-gotten gain & unlimited power than to keep the state’s economy healthy, whole industries intact and tens of thousands at work.

EXECUTIVE ORDERS: CHASING BUSINESSES, JOBS ACROSS THE BORDER

Brown’s executive order establishes the same unreasonably aggressive greenhouse gas emission reduction goals that were planned under Democrats’ job-destroying and failed climate change policy, Senate Bill 1530.

This order seeks to reduce emissions 45% below 1990 levels by 2035 and 80% below 1990 levels by 2050 for a state that ALREADY has the second lowest carbon emissions in the US.**

Why don’t they start with 2020 emission levels?  Because current emissions are too low!!!!!!!!!

Take note: 30 years after 1990, 2020 Oregon is way ahead in lowering emissions such that drastic measures are not needed.  This executive order is a power grab and money grab.  Period.  Nothing else.  And, like the Cap & Trade bill, does not commit any of the extra tax revenue to, well, LOWERING CARBON EMISSIONS.***

EXECUTIVE ORDERS: THE GOVERNOR IS SOOOOO CLEVER

As they admired the governor for “outflanking” Republicans, the state’s largest newspaper, the Liberal Oregonian, even had to admit that her use of executive orders to accomplish what she couldn’t get through the democratic process was an extremely far-reaching use of her executive powers.

This executive order orders numerous state agencies to place emissions reductions as a top priority.  They must apply their massive regulatory tools to move the state toward goals that are not needed and will benefit no one but Oregon’s Deep State.

There is doubt that Brown has the legal authority to set up the comprehensive, economy-wide cap and trade system that was rejected by the legislature and working Oregonians.  Taxpayers can expect their money to be used to defend this nightmare as lawsuits are already on their way.

Yes, Lil’ Katie is oh so clever.

Disgusted Oregonian

*This writer went to law school with Brown.  She went around campus telling others that she would be governor someday.  She was right.  Now in her mid-60s, she never worked in the private sector, spending her entire adult life acquiring more & more political power, by any means possible, including accepting money from George Soros.

**Alaska is the only state with lower carbon emissions than Oregon.

***Since Oregon lives on the same planet as India & China, and since Oregon has a micro dot economy in comparison, and since India & China have no intention of stopping their actual, visual black emissions, I have advice for Dictator Brown:  Take your plans to China, try to talk the Communist Elite into adopting them, and hope you make it out alive.

I am an American, a patriot, a Conservative, a Republican & a strong Trump supporter. I retired in order to devote 2020 to getting the best president in my lifetime re-elected. Normal Americans have hope for the first time in decades. But, we MUST NOT relax. We have remained silent for too long while Liberalism has caused significant damage to Americans, to American culture and to our nation. Trump's work must continue through 1/2025. If we want anything of value to remain for future generations we need to act now, speak out now. Laugh every time a Liberal speaks, vote every chance we get & volunteer to campaign for Trump. Don't be intimidated by Liberals. Our nation, our culture is too special to lose.
