Now that we know the Obama Department of Justice and the Obama FBI weaponized its massive resources against Candidate Trump & President Trump, let’s turn to the corruption in Oregon’s district attorneys’ offices, and the Oregon State Bar (AKA, the Bar).
Contrary to popular belief, attorneys are human beings. Each attorney brings his/her own unique personal experiences, viewpoints & biases to their jobs. Over the last 30 years too many of the 36 District Attorneys’ Offices were taken over by Liberal activists. And the Bar was stealthily and completely taken over by a statistical minority of Oregon’s attorneys: The Left.
AS DEMS GAINED MORE POWER, PERSECUTION INCREASED
As Democrats gained more & more power in Oregon, they hired more & more Liberal activists to fill important positions within the government, positions of power over NORMAL AMERICANS. Conservatives and Christians are most at risk.
Currently, there are two kinds of government attorneys in Oregon: 1) Liberal activists who use the law to push their social & political agendas, and 2) level-headed attorneys who just try to apply the law fairly. The Bar is only interested in hiring Liberal activists, and target Conservatives for harassment. Too many District Attorney Offices are just as partisan.
PERSECUTION OF ATTORNEYS:
CRITICISM OF DEMOCRATS NOT ALLOWED
During the presidential election of 2004, Senator John Forbes Kerry was challenging George W. Bush by highlighting his FOUR MONTHS of Navy service in Vietnam. Bush had not been sent to Vietnam during his military service. The men who served with Kerry during the Vietnam War KNEW he was lying and they started contacting each other.
These veterans finally decided that they needed to set the record straight about the claims of this Democrat candidate for president. So, they put together a public service ad, wherein several men who had served with Kerry talked about what really happened during Kerry’s time in Vietnam.
Everyday, non-political Americans trying to voice their concerns about a candidate they know. Liberals are allowed to “speak truth to power,” but no one else is.
PERSECUTION OF ATTORNEYS: ONE GOVERNMENT ATTORNEY STEPPED OUT OF LINE
One such Vietnam War veteran happened to be a long-serving Deputy District Attorney in Clackamas County, Oregon. After he was seen on TV criticizing an important Democrat, the DA’s Office started combing through his personnel file. They came upon a 10-year-old violation of personnel rules, and suspended him.
Meanwhile, the Bar opened investigations of him to see if they could find a way to disbar him or suspend his license. With a suspended license he would be fired from his job as Deputy District Attorney. They even delved into his sex life and made it public.
In the long run this Veteran got his job back and the Bar could not find any dirt on him so they closed their investigations. The message was clear, however: Anyone with a license to practice law in Oregon does not have Freedom of Speech Rights to criticize a Democrat politician. Period!
PERSECUTION OF ATTORNEYS:
PRACTICING LAW IN FEAR
Attorneys hanging out in the courthouse hallway or during a break at a legal seminar, look around to see who is listening before making remarks. The most innocent remark in everyday conversations can put one’s license to practice law in Oregon at risk.
Since the sands of Liberalism are constantly shifting one doesn’t know from day to day, which words & thoughts are allowed and which are not. Even Liberal attorneys worry about getting on the wrong side of the loonies who own the Bar.
A recent “seminar” that all Oregon attorneys are mandated to attend had nothing to do with the law. It was held to force attorneys to fall in line with one of the Bar’s current fantasies: Transgenderism. [Another fantasy: Undoing the 2016 presidential election and terrorizing attorneys who support Trump.]
No wonder several attorneys are suing the Bar for violation of their civil rights. The Bar has been abusing attorneys’ Bill of Rights for well over 25 years. Diversity of thought is NOT allowed among Oregon attorneys.
