Playing the race card for all its worth, Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA), who identifies as “black,*” announced her bid for the Democrat nomination for president on MLK, Jr. Day.
Kamala Harris, now age 54, began her political career by attaching herself to Willie Brown, Speaker of the California Assembly, a married man, and a long time Liberal scion in San Francisco & California politics. Harris became his mistress in 1993, a position that brought her in contact with many of the city’s political and financial movers & shakers.
KAMALA’S POLITICAL CAREER STARTED AS WILLIE’S MISTRESS
At the time they started their affair, Brown was 59 and Harris was 29. Press accounts described Kamala as Willie’s girlfriend and constant companion while Brown campaigned for and became mayor of San Francisco in 1996.
This relationship paid off for Harris. In early 1994, Brown named her to the state’s Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board. Six months later, he ALSO named her to the California Medical Assistance Commission. Harris held these positions at the same time for a combined salary of $170,000+, paid by California taxpayers.
KAMALA DISTINGUISHED HERSELF AT KAVANAUGH HEARING
Kamala Harris, who was elected as California’s junior senator the same time President Trump was elected, came across as nasty and rude toward Judge Kavanaugh at his confirmation hearing last September. Her questions were designed to grandstand for the so-called Resistance crowd, and elicited no answers of significance from Kavanaugh.
Kamala repeatedly demanded the confirmation hearing be delayed indefinitely so Dems could dig up dirt on Trump’s nominee. Some believe she started her campaign for president at the confirmation hearing.
Apparently pleased with her shameful, useless performance in September, Harris used the confirmation hearing for the new head of Immigration & Customs Enforcement to enhance her position as a Trump hater. She likened ICE to the Ku Klux Klan** at a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing when questioning acting director, Ronald Vitiello.
KAMALA: LET’S SHUTDOWN GOVERNMENT TO PROTECT ILLEGALS
In October 2017, Senator Harris declared that she would rather shut down the government than vote for a spending bill that did not address the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and ensure those covered by the program would not be deported. “I will not vote for an end-of-year spending bill until we are clear about what we are going to do to protect and take care of our DACA young people in this country,” she said.
In April 2018, Harris urged the US Senate Appropriations Committee to “reduce funding for beds in the federal immigration system,” reject calls to hire more Border Patrol personnel, and “reduce funding for the administration’s reckless immigration enforcement operations.”
We don’t need beds for illegal immigrants and their children if we just throw open the doors and allow any & all foreign nationals who want to live here, come here.
KAMALA WORKS FOR ILLEGALS, NOT FOR LAW-ABIDING AMERICANS
As San Francisco district attorney, Kamala Harris created “Back on Track,” an anti-recidivism program that she expanded as California’s Attorney General. According to the LA Times “Harris’ office had been allowing . . . . illegal immigrants to stay out of prison by training them for jobs they cannot legally hold.”
In her first speech on the US Senate floor, Harris declared, “An undocumented immigrant is not a criminal.”
In 2012, Harris submitted a brief supporting an illegal immigrant’s application for a law license. In 2014, the California Supreme Court ruled in the immigrant’s favor, even though the California State Bar’s rules state that it is disqualifying professional misconduct to commit a criminal act.
AG HARRIS MADE INROADS IN DESTROYING LAW-ABIDING’S RIGHT TO PRIVACY
Harris strongly supported “familial DNA searching,ˮ in which police take DNA samples from crime scenes and compare them to existing databases, looking for any familial matches. Police not only match crime scene DNA to convicted criminals, but now check it against all individuals in civilian genetic-testing databases companies like 23andMe and Ancestry.com.
Thus, if the person who left DNA at a crime scene is your second cousin, once removed, the police will be knocking on your door demanding information. Isn’t this a violation of each American’s Fourth Amendment Right against illegal search & seizure? As AG, Harris also supported the invasive law that allows collection and preservation of DNA samples from anyone who is arrested, even if they’re not charged with a crime.
ACCORDING TO KAMALA: AMERICANS HAVE NO RIGHT TO PRIVATE PROPERTY
Harris has also been a strong advocate of civil asset forfeiture. She supported a bill in California that would have allowed prosecutors to seize assets before initiating criminal proceedings — a power now available only at the federal level.
The legislation allowed seizures of private property in cases involving such crimes as bribery, gambling, and trafficking endangered species, as well as violent crimes. Harris endorsed the bill after then-US Attorney General Eric Holder sharply limited civil asset forfeiture among federal prosecutors.
Showing no concern for innocent Americans, Harris argued that the practice gave local and state law-enforcement officials “more tools to target the illicit profits and dismantle these dangerous organizations.”
Kamala Harris is the third politician to formally announce her candidacy for the Democrat nomination to challenge Trump in 2020.
It will be entertaining to watch them “out-Left” each other as they fight to show Democrat voters that they hate Normal Americans more than the other Dem.

*Harris’ parents were both immigrants. Her mother came from India and her father came from Jamaica. Like Barack, Kamala’s ancestors did not suffer from slavery in the Democrat South.
**KAMALA HIGHLIGHTED THE KU KLUX KLAN
After a brief history lesson on the tactics of the Klan (yet failing to mention the KKK was the enforcement arm of her own party), Harris grilled the acting director of ICE on his ability to notice the “perception” of the agency he is charged to run:
HARRIS: “Are you aware of the perception of many about how the power and the discretion at ICE is being used to enforce the laws? And do you see any parallels?” Harris asked.
VITIELLO: “I do not see any parallels between sworn officers and agents. I do not see a parallel between what is constitutionally mandated as it relates to enforcing the law.”
Not satisfied with his answers, Harris repeatedly demanded he acknowledge similarities between the KKK and ICE.
VITIELLO: “I see no perception that puts ICE in the same category as the KKK. Is that what you’re asking me?”
HARRIS: “Sir, how can you be the head of an agency and be unaware of how your agency is perceived by certain communities?”
VITIELLO: “I do not see a parallel between the power and the authority that ICE has to do its job and the agents and officers who do it professionally and excellently with lots of compassion. There’s a lot of perceptions in the media and in the public that are incorrect about the agency and what it does.
