Normal Americans sure enjoyed Trump’s smackdown of Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) Tuesday in the Oval Office.
As Nancy was begging to remove reporters, Chuckie, who despises Normal Americans, arrogantly dismissed 7+ Million of us.* The New York Global Elitist grimaced & waved his hand dismissively as he said: “When a president brags that he won North Dakota and Indiana, he’s in real trouble.”
With just one brief remark, Schumer told the majority of Americans that he believes them to be insignificant peons. Such people are not worthy of having their wants & needs taken into account when passing legislation. And certainly their wants & needs are inferior compared to destroying the Trump presidency.
TRUMP’S BADGE OF HONOR
Trump campaigned to upset five sitting Democrat senators. He helped put four GOP challengers in the US Senate: Missouri, Florida, North Dakota, & Indiana. He lost just one, the Montana Senate seat remains in Democrat hands.
Almost as exciting: Barack Obama lost every single race he campaigned for.
TRUMP CAMPAIGNED FOR WINNERS, OBAMA CAMPAIGNED FOR LOSERS
Senator Joe Donnelly, who voted against tax cuts for middle-class Americans and voted against confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh, was roundly defeated (52% to 43%) by businessman Mike Braun. A staunch supporter of Trump’s agenda, Braun often criticized Donnelly for not supporting the president enough.
Indiana is a state President Trump won by nearly 20 points in 2016, so a re-election win by Donnelly would have showed decreasing support for Trump’s re-election.
The president made two stops in Indiana on Braun’s behalf during the final week of the campaign. Former President Barack Obama came to Indiana to stump for Donnelly.
TRUMP CONVINCED NORTH DAKOTA CONGRESSMAN TO RUN FOR SENATE
Senator Heidi Heitkamp’s “no” vote for giving middle-class Americans a tax cut, followed by a “no” vote for Kavanaugh’s confirmation doomed her chance for re-election. She lost to her GOP challenger 55% to 44%.
Kevin Cramer, the Republican who held North Dakota’s only House seat since 2012, initially announced that he would seek another House term, rather than run for the Senate. But President Trump ultimately persuaded him to take on Heitkamp, an intervention by the president that Cramer stressed on the campaign trail.
Despite selling herself as an agriculture-friendly, gun-supporting moderate who was willing to work with Trump, Heitkamp struggled to win over his supporters. Trump won North Dakota by THIRTY-SIX points in 2016. Had Heitkamp won re-election, it may have showed decreasing support for Trump in 2020.
CAN WE GET OUR MONEY BACK FROM IRAN TO FUND THE WALL?
Obama found $150 Billion in cash to sneak to Iran, in the dead of night, in 2015. But Nancy claims we don’t have $5 Billion to build The Wall that Americans desperately want & need.

* North Dakota’s population is 683,932. And 6,516,922 Americans & legal alien residents reside in Indiana.
This writer resided in North Dakota for three years and is a proud alumni of Minot State University. North Dakota had the highest level of literacy at that time, probably still does. The respect for education there was palpable. I noticed that my classmates, most of whom grew up in ND, were better educated than my peers in Washington & Oregon where I spent my first 21 years. Apparently, the ND public schools provided a higher quality education.
North Dakota was the only state who did not participate in the Bush/Obama recession. While the rest of the country was suffering from the highest level of unemployment since the Great Depression (in the 1930s), North Dakota’s economy was booming. About 20 years ago the state put in place an economic plan to develop the state’s natural resources. There were more jobs than residents, so unemployed workers from all over the country moved there. I am acquainted with dozens of people who moved from WA, OR, ID, MT, NV to participate in North Dakota’s booming economy.
