Karma Is A Total Bitch!
President Trump was right. After telling the nation of the corruption in San Juan the media fired back at President Trump calling him a liar, and claiming there isn’t anything going on in San Juan. Well, guess what? President Trump was once again right. The feds have raided the offices in San Juan.
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — The FBI has raided a government office in Puerto Rico’s capital to seize documents and other items as part of an investigation into alleged fraud.
The special agent in charge Douglas Leff told reporters on Tuesday that authorities are trying to determine whether someone is obstructing the ongoing investigation.
Leff said agents are acting on allegations that an unidentified person might have moved and forged documents.
The investigation began after Puerto Rico officials announced they found irregularities in the purchasing department of the municipality of San Juan.
Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz said in a statement that she has ordered employees to cooperate with federal authorities.
City officials, including the office of Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz, are being investigated over accusations of favoritism in a $4.7 million contract with the company BR Solutions, according to The Hill.

Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz and her administration are under fire for allegedly obstructing critical supplies from reaching victims of the category-4 hurricane that leveled much of the tiny U.S. territory nearly nine months ago.
The FBI reportedly launched the investigation following a February lawsuit filed by Yadira Molina, the former director of procurement. Molina claims she was retaliated against for reporting “alleged irregular acts” to the local comptroller.
“On February 21, Molina sued the city council after reporting alleged acts of corruption in the shopping division in the town hall under the administration of Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz Soto,” according to El Vocero de Puerto Rico.
