Canadian billionaire, Barry Sherman, and wife both found dead inside Toronto mansion.
Another highly suspicious death has been reported after a billionaire pharmaceutical company owner, Barry Sherman, was found dead inside his Toronto home alongside his wife. Clearly having both of them found dead rules out the natural cause and though no forced entry could be determined two billionaires don’t just up and die.
The couple was found dead after police responded to a medical call just before noon local time at their home in an affluent section of north-east Toronto.
“The circumstances of their death appear suspicious and we are treating it that way,” said police officer David Hopkinson. Homicide detectives later told reporters gathered outside the home that there were no signs of forced entry.
Sherman, 75, founded privately held Apotex in 1974. He stepped down as chief executive in 2012 but remained as executive chairman. Forbes has estimated his net worth at $3.2bn.
Though it’s mere speculation, the events naturally give way to the conclusion that Barry Sherman knew something he shouldn’t have and he was killed in order to keep him from being able to talk.
