If you weren’t a Sean Hannity fan before, you best be now!
Hannity faced intense scrutiny over the weekend as liberals jumped at the chance to eat him alive when on a radio show Friday, a former Hannity contributor Debbie Schlussel, alleged the FOX News anchor harassed her multiple times, asking her to go back to his hotel room, and when she said no, was dropped on his show.
Monday night during his primetime show, and during his daytime syndicated radio show, Hannity went for the liberal jugular, reading his statement he sent out over the weekend word-for-word, and gave a warning to the liberal facist media: I know your agenda and I will not stay silent anymore. I’m going to fight!
In an interview with LawNewz.com Monday morning, Schlussel denied saying she was sexually harassed by Hannity, but stands by her description of the incident, adding she doesn’t believe what happened between the two amounted to sexual harassment by any legal definition.Schlussel, an attorney herself said:
“I would never accuse him of that. Sexual harassment has a special meaning under the law, and I would never accuse him of that,” I never thought I was sexually harassed by Sean Hannity. I thought he was weird and creepy not someone I liked.”
But last Friday, when asked Pat Campbell, an Oklahoma radio talk show host, if she experienced or witnessed any inappropriate behavior during her time at Fox News she said, “Only by Sean Hannity, not by Bill O’Reilly.” Schlussel saying:
“He had some event at a bookstore where he signed his book for people standing in line. He asked me to come meet him at this book signing,” Schlussel said on Campbell’s show. “So I met him there and it was very awkward. He had me up there with him while he signed books and I felt very weird. These people don’t know me and they didn’t come for me to sign their books. Then I left to get ready for the show, and he said, ‘Why don’t you come back with me to my hotel?’ and I said no, I have to get ready for the show.”
Hannity says this isn’t the first time Schlussel attempted to smear his reputation. In 2010, Schlussel claimed Hannity and the the charity Freedom Alliance, which raises money for wounded veterans, was barely donating any of the millions of dollars raised to these veterans or their families.
Schlussel also charged Hannity was demanding expensive private jet travel service, luxury SUVs and several suites in high priced hotels in order to get him to the “Freedom Concert” events held by the Freedom Alliance.
In terms of Hannity’s personal donations to the Freedom Alliance, a statement from his office claims the TV and radio star has given in excess of a million dollars to the charity, with all of the profits from his 2010 book going to them.
Hannity’s statement from the weekend into Monday read:
“LET ME BE CLEAR – THE COMMENTS ABOUT ME ON A RADIO SHOW THIS WEEK by this individual are 100% false and a complete fabrication.
This individual is a serial harasser who has been lying about me for well over a decade. The individual has a history of making provably false statements against me in an effort to slander, smear and besmirch my reputation.
The individual has not just slandered me over the years but many people who this individual disagrees with.
This individual desperately seeks attention by any means necessary, including making unfounded personal attacks and using indefensible and outrageous political rhetoric.
My patience with this individual is over. I have retained a team of some of the finest and toughest lawyers in the country who are now in the process of laying out the legal course of action we will be taking against this individual.
In this fiercely divided & vindictive political climate, I will no longer allow slander and lies about me to go unchallenged, as I see a coordinated effort afoot to now silence those with conservative views. I will fight every single lie about me by all legal means available to me as an American.”
